The European Pain School (EPS) was founded at the University of Siena (Italy) in 2002. The school is intended for students working on basic science and clinical topics related to acute and chronic pain. It is a scientific enrichment platform that gives young scientists the opportunity to exchange knowledge and study pain mechanisms and research techniques.
Medoc's Ofrit Bar-Bachar had the honor and pleasure to participate in the annual European Pain School in Sienna, hosted virtually this year. The EPS took place between June 14th and 19th, and had its main topic: "Pain, Inflammation and the Guts".
In the picture, you can see Ofrit during her lecture on Static and Dynamic Quantitative Sensory Testing, a scene typical for Corona-pandemic times.
