Medoc and MRC at IASP 2026 Bangkok World Congress on Pain

This October, the pain research community gathers in Bangkok, Thailand, for the IASP 2026 World Congress on Pain. Medoc will be there from 26 to 30 October, sharing Booth B2 with our partners at MRC.

The World Congress is one of the most important meetings in our field. It brings together researchers, clinicians and industry from around the world to share what is new in understanding, measuring and treating pain. For Medoc, it is a chance to meet the researchers and clinicians who use our systems every day, exchange ideas and learn about the work they are doing.

What you'll find at Booth B2

  • Hands-on demos of Medoc's quantitative sensory testing (QST) systems, including the TSA2 and TSA2 AIR and the Q-Sense for thermal testing, the VSA2 for vibration testing, AlgoMed for pressure algometry and CoVAS for continuous pain rating.

  • Our clinical applications team, ready to talk through study designs, testing protocols and how our systems fit into research and clinical settings.

  • MRC, our partner, who will be on hand to discuss support and service in their region, as well as their mechanical QST product line.

Supporting the pre-congress hands-on workshop

Before the congress opens, Medoc is proud to support the hands-on workshop Assessing Pain Processing in Older Adults: What Is Necessary and What Works Best, on 26 October 2026, 13:00–17:00.

Led by Miriam Kunz, Laura Petrini, Michael Alec Owens, Stefan Lautenbacher and Lene Vase, the workshop offers practical, evidence-based training in assessing pain processing in older adults. Participants rotate through hands-on stations covering verbal and non-verbal assessment, behavioural pain indicators, cognitive screening and quantitative sensory testing adapted for ageing populations. Registration is open on the IASP 2026 website.

See you in Bangkok

Whether you are planning a new study, already working with Medoc systems or simply curious about QST, we'd love to meet you. Stop by Booth B2, say hello and see our systems in action.
